Summary
BOSS stores the information needed to run and restore your company simulation. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
1. What we collect
Player identity
BOSS uses Apple Game Center or Google Play Games to recognize you across devices. We may receive a platform player identifier and display name. Before platform sign-in is available, BOSS creates a random guest identifier.
Game content and progress
We store the names and descriptions you enter, your company state, products, employees, decisions, results, conversations, notifications, and company history.
Device and technical information
If you enable notifications, we store a push token and device platform so we can send game updates. Our servers may also process standard connection information, such as IP address, request time, and error details, to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
- Run the simulation and save your progress.
- Restore your company when you return or change devices.
- Generate employee replies, situations, offers, and product cost estimates.
- Send notifications you have enabled.
- Prevent abuse, investigate errors, and keep BOSS secure.
4. Your choices
- Turn push notifications off in your device settings.
- Reset your current company from Profile → Reset game.
- Request access to or deletion of your full account through our account deletion page.
Reset game deletes company progress. Full account deletion also removes the player record and associated identifiers.
5. Retention and security
We keep account and game data while your account is active. We remove or anonymize it after a verified deletion request unless law requires us to keep specific records. We use access controls, encrypted connections, and secure device storage for session credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Children
BOSS is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
7. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Policy changes
We may update this policy when BOSS or its providers change. We will post the new date here and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
